Bagel Mainea

Walked in to get 1 bagel and ended up buying two due to an incredible and tempting variety. Rosemary and black olive sounded risky but I had to try it. Can not be more happy with how fresh and delicious this was.

I'm touring Maine to see if I'm changing states, I'm traveling from Florida and I find this place in Augusta, I walked in and a very friendly guy took care of me, I ordered an onion bagel with beacon, egg and cheese and I really loved it! ! Everything is very fresh and the place is very cozy. If you travel and find it, be sure to try them.

Food is very yummy, interaction with the cashier was great, but the staff in the open kitchen were complaining very loudly and rudely about orders and customers. I know thats how commercial kitchens are, but with the open concept of it their voices reverberate around the whole resturant.

The bagel sandwiches here are one of the best I have ever had around New England. I got the sausage, egg, and cheese on a jalapeno cheddar bagel with garlic herb cream cheese and I was blown away. So happy my friends and I stopped here (one of them also greatly enjoyed her 1st breakfast burrito in life here). Would absolutely come back whenever Im back in Maine!!

Their sandwiches are small and overpriced. Their atmosphere is a bit grungy and uncomfortable for the average diner. The flavor was good, but could be improved.
