Backyard Taco - Laveen

Staff is great! Owner is really nice. Food is good but service was slow. The birria tacos were good. I was actually pleased that the free consume juice that comes with the taco wasnt steaming hot! The pastor taco has everything needed for a good taco except its missing just a tad more flavor. The size of the cut of each peice is perfect to where the meat is not dried out. I like it. My daughter liked the pastor quesadilla especially the thick flour tortilla. The asada vampiro my wife had needed a bit more flavor. We feel like its a low sodium cook in the back. Definately healthier but the full flavor of what the food should be is lacking. Dont get me wrong... its good. But it can be better. We will definitely come back!

Enjoyed a fun Saturday night on the patio at Backyard Tacos. Food was excellent. I had the shredded beef tacos with an order of chips and beans. Chips are free refills and finished it off with a $1.50 soft serve cone. Played cards on the patio with my girlfriends and it was a welcoming atmosphere. The owner was very friendly and welcoming as was the rest of the staff. Would recommend and will be back! Great addition to Laveen!

Got drive thru! Its so convenient for someone who's running home after working all day and dont wanna play nicey nice with more then 2 people. I definitely liked it. Got the horchata shake, jamaica agua fresca, the 3 taco combo with steak (rice and beans) and chicken quesadilla. I will be using the quesadilla as lunch tomorrow but the tacos were good. Not spicy for anyone worried about that kind of thing. The horchata shake has be my favorite. I will go back for that many MANY times. The rice and beans were also an amazing part. Love the flavor of the beans. I cant wait to try the quesadilla. It was a long wait in the drive thru but that is to be expected with a new place in Laveen. Even with the wait, they moved through customers quickly. Hope they continue to get all the attention and

I got el pastor and birria tacos they where both delicous cant wait to come back and try the pollo and Asada tacos friendly staff and the meat is cooked over a mesquite flame definitely recommended and I will be returning myself welcome to the neighborhood backyard tacos

This place is amazing! I’m so glad that they finally made it to the west side! I’ve been a fan of Backyard since they were in the back yard more than a dozen years ago. I love their Birria tacos and their Horchata shakes. Their bowls are also stellar! Will be back and soon!
