Tortas Manantial

Even though I live fairly close by, just found this place today. Order the Cubana Torta and (thinking it was a side) the Carne Asada fries, then (obviously knowing how well I order..LOL) my husband ordered the same. I was thinking it was a bit on the expensive side - until our food was ready. Definitely huge portions, so we are good for dinner and lunch tomorrow. Everything was so delicious, super flavors and well prepared. The place is really clean and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommend!

So yummy! Also bonus points because they provide the entire bottle of sauce when you eat there. We got the Hawaiiana and the Carne Asada Tortas and both were great. Plus I loved the lime and cucumber juice. We will be back!

Laveen continues to grow and I’m so pleased to see small business on the rise in this area I wasn’t sure what to expect I mean it’s just a hot sandwich right 😆 I’d be curious to know if the bread is homemade because it’s so soft and the lightly toasted so it has a bit of the crunch in your first bite I ordered a Turkey and ham torta with all the fixings. Shredded lettuce, thinly sliced tomatoes, with avocado. There’s a sauce that comes with it and I suggest getting it on the side if you’re ordering takeout so your torta doesn’t become soggy We also ordered carne asada nachos Let me tell you the meat was soooo tender I snuck a few pieces while my sister wasn’t looking. First time visiting this hidden gem. Tried their new asadero torta. They have two types of carne asada tortas. I tried the new one with a horchata and it definitely hit the spot. My wife had the Cubana with a pepino agua and she was also very pleased. Definitely recommend. We will be back to try other items. Update: Stopped by the following day. Appeared short staffed, only 2 girls working . Lots of orders and people waiting. Food took a really really long time to come out. Other guests seemed annoyed as well. I'll give them another shot. May have been a one off. I hope so, food is tasty but not worth it if it's a long wait.

First time visiting the 51st and Baseline location due to the great reviews this place had. Unfortunately as soon as I approached the counter I was met with an attitude by a younger female. She def didn't want to be at work on a Saturday afternoon. I proceeded to order 3 tortas and two drinks. Made one modification to my torta - no onions. The order was bagged up and noticed she forgot a bag of chips. Tried to get her attention and she straight ignored me so had to call her mother (I assume) over to ask and she gave me the chips they forgot to pack. Upon getting home noticed my torta wasn't correct as they didn't include anything else like the mayo, lettuce and tomato (was only the torta bread, carne asada, and avocado).
