Quaint little bbq place. Food was absolutely delicious and good portions. The pulled pork was very good. The mac and cheese was probably the best I've had in a long time. The service was amazing. The guy at the counter was very helpful and friendly. Only complaint is that the decor and atmosphere could use a little updating but doesn't deter us from coming back again. Definitely worth a visit and will definitely be returning.

You know, when the locals rave about a spot, it is a winner. A++++++ I stopped by at lunch, on a rainy day. About half full, the service was excellent. The wings are 10. Not pink inside. While I realize that pink inside is a sign of the slow smoking process, my preference is a dark white shade. Just me. Meat separation from bone is excellent. Snappy crisp skin. Brisket is a solid 7. Only because I am picky. I order “fatty cut”. They had a hard time processing my order. I did not get fully fatty cut, but on the other side, I did not get dry brisket. The brisket had a good smoke flavor, excellent bark. I was digging the rub….. Again, I just prefer a fattier cut….. I spoke with the owner, good dude. Phenomenal BBQ. Hole in the wall vibes with delicious, reasonably priced BBQ and a nice atmosphere. At our lunch one person got the pulled chicken sandwich and two of us split the All Meats combo (we should've split it with 3 or 4, plenty of food). The sandwich combo was generous and even the small Mac n cheese side was substantial. Prices were very reasonable, especially the sandwich combo. All the meats had a delicious smokiness to them. Pulled chicken was the absolute standout with a peppery smoked in flavor that barely needed any sauce. Brisket was look at it and it falls apart tender and had a ton of flavor. Small little dive, near the airport. The food was absolutely amazing, we had the ribs and the smoked wings. The mac and cheese is definitely worth the upgraded side. Everything was smokey and freshly made. Ribs were juicy and still a little firm, as they should be. Even the green beans were flavorful. They even have a giant jug of Kool-Aid, I haven't seen that in forever. The guy running the place was very nice and answered all of our questions. I told him it was our first time and he even gave us a discount. Decided to get the apple cobbler cheesecake to go, it was the best cheesecake I have had in a long time. The best $6 spent. Highly recommended.

Mannnnnnn!!! This is what I’m talking about good southern cooking, great hospitality and love. This is an amazing and perfect food spot. From the food, to the customer service, drinks nice and strong (and reasonable!!) and the flavors are unmatched. Brought in my birthday with some good black owned eats! I am so glad I’m a loyal customer now. Menu has such variety to pick and food always hot! Come and support! Get the Jordan special for the drink and Jordan thank you for all the love! Sweet tea, the brisket dinner (2 sides and a roll or cornbread, come on man!). Banana pudding and apple cobbler cheesecake is a a missile! This is easily top 5 in all of Richmond! Do not hesitate.
