Backdoor Pizzeria

Stick with the pizza. Great location, great pizza, great service. But the “More” part is a little less impressive. Ordered the 12” cheesesteak sandwich. Flavor and ingredients on point but portion size was seriously lacking. Sandwich was less than half full of meat & cheese. (See photo) For $12+ it should have been much more. Still a great place, but missed the mark on this visit.

Outstanding experience. I was greeted with a smile upon arrival. The girl at the counter was very kind. It was my first visit. She was even cleaning tables later while I was enjoying my food. I ran into the owner and he shared the story of where him and his family began their original location. It’s amazing to see a place that is so modern from the inside yet makes you feel as though you are at home. The lighting is perfect. They even have a mural on the wall that tells you about the family and a cross on the wall from the holy land itself. I even saw a young girl helping an elderly man with such grace to take his pizza to go. Too bad he was an Aggie fan but god bless em anyways. I got the turkey and provolone sandwich and on my brother, it was the best turkey sandwich I ever had. You

First time customer here. We ordered a Pizza & Salad. Salad was fresh, and had Parmesan cheese strips, not the cheep plastic most places offer. The Pizza was well built and cooked. Pizza had good amount of toppings. We saw a great menu of other food items offered, coffee, pies, cakes,burgers, cookies, ice cream. They have 14 big screens inside for sports and things we enjoy watching. Plenty of employees on hand working. Very laid back atmosphere. The place was very clean and bright. We will go back for more.

Recently moved to Hockley and am already missing the convenience of going things just down the street. I have been to this restaurant 4-5 times and I’m glad it’s here and nearby. Really good pizza, decent apps, good sandwiches.

A great place to visit. Great food options, well made with quality ingredients. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great outdoors patio. Big place so it can get loud. Dessert options look wonderful, but so far I haven't made it to dessert, food is just too good.
