Customer Reviews
Great and courteous service. Best feature of this restaurant. Wonderful ambiance with Christmas theme. The reputation for the cuisine seemed to exceed actual food. Especially with the Bacchus namesake. The best report came from those who ordered prime rib. Be aware it is served almost raw. While small in portion, the mashed potatoes were very good. Some in our party had risotto, chicken pasta, or salmon, however no one said anything positive about these dishes. The pumpkin soup was a hit. $19 for a small Caesar salad and 4 prawns felt like a bit of a gouge. Dessert was three bites. The wine and spirit menu looked great although I passed on this indulgence.
One of our favorite places for dinner, the atmosphere is really nice, the food is outstanding ,the best bread pudding we’ve ever had the service was perfect, really enjoyed the music, just a great place all the way around
Our server, Nick, was AMAZING. Super friendly, professional, made sure we had everything we needed, and was easy to talk to. The food was absolutely incredible. The chef here is fantastic. They have spectacular Christmas decor up right now and are open for Christmas eve (which I recommend checking out). The dim lighting along with the mellow music made the ambiance very cozy. It is pricey, but definitely a great treat! Come try this place if you haven’t already!
A Neighborhood Charm. Came here to try their famous prime rib, now it was cooked perfectly to my liking, also super moist and tender. The garlic potatoes can be use a little more salt to my taste, the Brussels were so light and fluffy the way it was cooked. The calamari was ok, the BBQ ribs was delightful and falls off the bone. The deviled eggs were good. The Cabernet flight was good and love the pours! Most importantly the server Nico was So on top of his job, very sweet and attentive. Will definitely return to try their other dishes. The restaurant was Super clean and beautiful inside. 📍Bacchus House Folsom, CA ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Don’t forget to follow me on IG and Yelp for more great foodie places to check out Follow... @Only1ChristineLu **
This is a favorite of mine and my wife’s. The atmosphere is always pleasant, they normally decorate for every season with classic and tasteful decors. Kayla behind the bar always takes care of us and she is never short of something creative. The food is amazing, it’s always a toss up between the chiefs special or the braised short ribs. My wife sticks with the prime rib which is always great. Highly recommend. Update, still amazing but wanted to share the key lime pie is amazing. During our monthly visit we indulged in dessert and so happy we did. This was the perfect topper to my meal.
