Baan Thai Thai

Wow! What a welcome addition to the greater Hattiesburg area! We only have Jutamas for Thai food in Hattiesburg, and in my opinion it has gone down hill. Baan Thai Thai is awesome! Excellent food, friendly service, with a bustling vibrant dining room. They even have a drive thru! We got drunken noodles, green curry, shrimp donuts, dumplings, and Thai fried rice. Everything was spot on and well prepared! So good! I hope they put a location in Hattiesburg but it’s definitely worth the drive over. I spoke with one of the owners and they are so friendly! They opened in December this year (2025.) Come try it!

I’m glad that there’s another Thai restaurant in town! The place isn’t a nice area, big space and nice and easy to read menu with pictures. Overall, the pricing is about the same as the other Thai restaurant in town. I did notice the portion size is smaller than the other restaurant however, in my opinion, this restaurant has a bit more flavor, it was more saucy. Overall good experience and I would come back to try their out their dishes.

Super yummy pad thai, we had a shrimp and a pork! Their shrimp rings are delicious! And the pork dumplings! All good! Friendly and knowledgeable waitress too!

So very very delicious and great sweet tea. Cook made a dish not on the menu for my daughter that she remembered from Surin Restaurant. They closed and we've missed it but Baan Thai Thai is impressive replacement. They made her Pad Prik Pork and I ordered the Goong Pad Pong Karee. They were both absolutely delicious and large portions. I took leftovers and couldn't stay out of it.

"I recently dined at Baan Thai and had the pleasure of trying their shrimp donuts. These little treats were packed with flavor and had a delightful crunch. The shrimp filling was fresh and well-seasoned, making each bite enjoyable. Alone with the sauce was awesome. However, I was a bit disappointed with the portion size. For $10.95, receiving only three small shrimp donuts feels a bit skimpy. I believe a serving of four would not only justify the price better but also make for a more satisfying experience. Despite this, I would still recommend trying them if you’re a fan of shrimp dishes. I look forward to returning and hope they consider adjusting the portion size in the future!" This is a third time here. Overall they are delicious!!!!!
