B. Doughnut La Plata

We’ve been driving past this donut shop once a month for a while, and today we finally decided to stop in. The donuts looked really cute, and the overall vibe of the shop was inviting. Service was okay — it was our first time visiting, so we needed a little time to decide, but we felt a bit rushed by the server standing and waiting for our order. As for the donuts themselves: they were just okay. They looked better than they tasted — they were cold and a bit pricey for what they were. Still, glad we finally checked it out, but not sure we’d go out of our way to return.

Traveling through to head home to VA we stopped by this cute doughnut shop.. no ordinary doughnuts here! The Vanilla Bean was out of this world! So fluffy and creamy! Perfect and my white mocha was made perfect!!!

I don’t recommend these at all. They look super cute but they are very small and very dense. They were cold, like refrigerator cold, and almost immediately after eating them my partner felt so sick he had to pull over to throw them up before we even got home. They focus so much on the aesthetic of the filling bursting out the top but if you bite the opposite end it’s barely filled at all. I can’t justify the cost of these donuts for what you get out of it.

Absolutely amazing! I will be making the 45 min drive to come back again and again! Wonderful doughnuts! Great coffee and Absolutely wonderful staff. You wont regret going here!

Delicious donuts, with a heavenly filling, light, not too sweet, creamy, and divine! The vanilla tasted like luxury! I of course had to try the famous Spanish latte, and it was worth it. A great coffee with perfect flavors, I will be going to this donut shop as often as possible when Im craving something sweet! Cozy, clean atmosphere, this little donut shop is a perfect place to sit back with a book and relax.
