This is my family’s favorite spot to go out to eat. The kids can play and get their energy out while us parents can relax a little. The food is amazing. Everything we have tried is delicious. The staff is always so friendly making our experience even better. Their margaritas are the best!
The flavor of the birria and consomé was excellent. Unfortunately, the quesabirria was under cooked. I gave the kitchen a second chance to re-make it. They forgot about it and I ended up waiting 25+ minutes for my food. The re-make was also undercooked. The cocktails and salsa were great. This place has tremendous potential.
Yummola!! I went for breakfast(yes breakfast!) and will def be back for lunch dinner etc. The Cali breakfast burrito(no meat but big on spice) was awesome. My friend got the 4 choice breakfast burrito. You pick 4 from list of options like potatoes bacon sausage eggs rice etc. Both were delish! Big big portions(could only eat half!) and value prices! Staff was very helpful. With the order you get salsas and sour cream and Pico. Don't forget the guacamole--- fresh and yummy. Highly recommend this open air restaurant!!
The food at Azul Tex Mex Express is solid — definitely better than most Mexican restaurants in the area. The flavors are fresh, portions are generous, and it hits the basics well. That said, it’s a little basic. The dishes are good, but nothing stands out as truly memorable or exciting. It’s reliable for a tasty meal, but it’s missing that “special something” that would take it to the next level. A good choice if you want consistent, tasty Mexican food, just don’t expect anything groundbreaking.
Great little spot, just happened to be driving by coming into town. Couldn't have asked for a better spot for a perfect spring evening to sit outdoors, listen to good music and enjoy some good food. I had the Birria Burrito and fries. I recommend it. Sweet tea was truly sweet and spot on (no unsweet tea on the menu as it should be in Statesboro GA). Friendly staff, very clean outdoor seating with corn hole, live music, and lots of happy looking college kids. Great hit!
