I’ve been to all the Avra locations in NYC and they are all wonderful. This was our first time at the Avra Hudson Yards. Wow. The space is incredibly spacious with plenty of tables and no one is on top of each other. Beautiful decor, service is great. Everyone tending to your table, constantly. Our server Gabriel was phenomenal, on point, knowledgeable and pleasure to speak to. The food was (as always) tasty and simply great. I can’t recommend having a meal at any of the Avra locations. Never disappointed. The cocktails are fun and delicious. Our favorite is the Santorini martini. 🍸 They also have a lunch pre-fix menu and starts at $40 per person for a 3 course. We visited Avra near Hudson Yards for an early Valentine’s Day lunch, and it was absolutely wonderful. The space is gorgeous, bright, and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed but special afternoon. We started with the salad and the grilled calamari, both incredibly fresh and full of flavor. For our main dish, we shared the fish (catch of the day)with lemon potatoes, which was cooked perfectly. Dessert was a highlight. We tried both the orange cake and the baklava—each one delicious in its own way, not overly sweet, and the perfect finish to the meal. The drinks were also excellent. This definitely equals most famous greck restaurant. They welcomed us during afternoon and serve us delicious meditereean food. Grilled calamari was absolutely crazy, branzino had 10-12 bones inside, search for it before start eating. For the service there, there was too much staff on the floor for the number of customer at that Time. They were steping on each other and sometimes they were losing sharpness because they were not communicating enough. Is was the down side of the expérience which is the upside of the competition. For food try Avra for sure.

Just had an amazing dinner at Avra! The food was seriously good, the grilled shrimp and mousaka were my fave. Salmon was cooked just right – so tender and flavorful. Their cocktails? Perfect. Our server was awesome, super attentive and made the whole experience great. The place has a cool, classy vibe and the tables are spaced out nicely, which is nice when it's busy. It wasn't loud at all, even though it was packed. Staff was super efficient and friendly, even with lots of people there.

I’ve been dining at Avra for years, starting with their location in Beverly Hills, and when I returned to New York, I always made it a point to dine at Avra Madison. The food is absolutely incredible, as a seafood lover, I truly appreciate how fresh everything is. Beyond the cuisine, I love the ambience, the cocktails, and the people; every visit feels like a luxury experience, and the staff is always top-tier. Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at their new location on 33rd & Ninth, and my girlfriend and I had the best time ever. We were warmly welcomed by the team and by George, the manager, who took excellent care of us. The food was not only fresh but beautifully presented, and the aesthetic of the restaurant is stunning.
