Au Cheval

I recently visited Au Cheval in Manhattan and had a great overall experience. I really loved the atmosphere. The environment has a cool, vibrant energy, and the music added a lot to the mood of the place. The food was very good. We ordered the Caesar salad, mac and cheese, the burger, french fries and the chicken sliders. Everything was well-prepared and flavorful. The burger, of course, is the highlight. Is it the best burger I’ve ever had? No. But it’s definitely high quality, generously sized, and absolutely worth trying. For dessert, we had two options, and the mille-feuille was huge and incredibly delicious, what a perfect way to end the meal. Overall, a great dining experience with excellent ambiance, solid food, and portions that definitely satisfy. I would gladly go back!

I had the best anniversary dinner here. The staff is attentive, the food is amazing and the drinks are out of this world. Hoping for many more years of success for your team! This was the best service I’ve received in all of New York City! Highly recommend the wings and of course the burger. Ordered a light salad and it was the perfect compliment.

10/10 experience! Burgers were absolutely amazing, super tasty! Salad was great as well. The chocolate cake really topped the entire night. Great service as well! Will definitely be back again!!

Lovely restaurant with a cute speakeasy below. Both serve full menu which has great options. I had the steak frites which was a tender, very flavorful ribeye with fries and a delicious garlic aioli. 10/10! For appetizer, we had the chicken liver which was served chopped and chilled like chicken salad. It came with the best toast I've ever had... so crisp and buttery. Caesar salad was also pretty good, and cocktails were great!

Absolutely incredible experience. I am a snob when it comes to service and Scott really impressed me!! A big shout out for making our dinner that much more phenomenal. We love their restaurants but in our opinion this one hits the hardest! The burger was by far the best execution with the perfect amount of peppercorn. I was highly impressed with the salad Scott recommend along with the steak tartare. My partner went to heaven with the bone marrow. Overall our experience was a 10/10 and we will definitely be back on our next trip to the city. We never felt rushed, the place was buzzing and the food was outstanding.
