I feel like it's necessary that l do this review about my hometown bagel spot. I have been coming here since I was a kid and have always enjoyed their bagels and sandwiches. Although they do still have great bagels and food, the service has plummeted down hill over the last several years. It went from sometimes being hit or miss with getting something about your order wrong, to now usually always getting your order wrong, waiting there forever to pick up food and hearing the chaos of the workers yell about what's going wrong. I along with most people seem to do door dash pickup these days at Atlantic bagel because I would assume the thought is, it's written down for them thus hard to screw up and it will be ready when you go pick it up. I felt welcomed when we walked in. The bagel I got was very hard and the cream cheese didn’t have a taste to it. It’s a very nice place. I think the bagels just need to be softer. I would definitely return to try different sandwiches. Nothing bad to say about this place. Just one or two improvements. Overall 3/5

One of those delis you only get in the tri-state area. Fresh bread daily, Boars Head meats, and a staff that knows how to build proper sandwiches for hungry working folk And responding to the other reviews - I get egg sandwiches and bagels here semi-regularly and I’ve never had problems, only deliciousness

I have been a long time resident of Highlands. I haven’t really frequented the Atlantic Highlands area until I got older . I ate here yesterday for the first time and I was blown away by the food, atmosphere, and the customer service from the staff. As a person of color, I’m always nervous walking into some establishments in the area but the welcoming energy I received from staff made me comfortable quickly . The customer service was kind, positive, & welcoming. I had ordered a sausage, egg, & cheese with a hash brown on an everything bagel. This is my second day back and it tastes just as good as it did yesterday! You guys are doing good, keep up the good work <3

Nowhere else I’d rather get my bagels. Great staff. Great food.
