Asheville Retrocade

We love this place!!! We can easily spend 2+ hours here. I feel like a kid again playing pac man and pinball. My kids love playing the retro games and also the PlayStation games. Retrocade always has great beers on tap. Kids have drinks and snacks at the bar too. This place is an incredible deal at $10/person (just imagine how much you’d spend at Dave and Busters for 2 hours of play).

Wow 10 dollars for unlimited free play is really great! Drinks prices were very reasonable too, and I enjoyed the selection of games. They had multiple initial d racing games, one of which looked pretty new but was partially in Japanese. Music was a bit loud to play DDR though. I'd be down to return if/when I'm in town again

So I love old video games from the 80's and 90's. The price is not that bad. It cost us $10 per person. The smell could be better and the down stairs could be cleaner, but all that aside the games were maintained well. We did not buy and drink so I can not comment on the bar aspect. The parking is parkmobile on the street or in a parking lot across the street. We all had fun and glad we went.

The Retrocade in Asheville is an absolute gem. If you love classic arcade games and a laid-back, nostalgic vibe, this place delivers every time. The game selection is awesome—tons of retro favorites—and everything is well maintained and easy to jump into. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the customer service. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely excited to have people there. You can tell they care about the experience, not just the games. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Asheville, the Retrocade is a must-stop. Great vibes, great games, and consistently great service. Can’t recommend it enough.

Spent a few hours here the other day with my grandson. What a fun place! Great selection of video games and pinball... old and new. Big bar with great drink selections, alcoholic and non. Super nice guy managing the place the day we were there. Will have to visit with other adults in the evening next time I'm in town.
