Artisan Gelato & Espresso

Enjoyed Gelato today Chocolate & Strawberry and Fresh squeezed lemonade. Everything was delicious! The view on the canal was so nice! The owner was so personable and all of his artifacts were so interesting! Definitely we will be back!

Really? No samples at a Gelato shop? We asked for one sample. Unbelievable. The staff was rude when we asked a few simple questions. Also, how unprofessional that the owner calls unsatisfied customer "Karens". They're a joke that can't handle criticism. We liked going here previously. So unfortunate.

This is my favorite place to get a latte! The Gelato is amazing too! The owner and all of the workers are so incredibly nice - it has become a regular stop almost every weekend for me. Highly recommend!

Stopped in about 1:30 on a weekday. When my girlfriends and I walked in the owner was very rude and acted like we were stupid for asking a question about the gelato, pretty ironic since there is a sign on the gelato case saying “be nice or leave.” Made us feel like we were wasting his time definitely no customer service skills. Made us feel very uncomfortable throughout the encounter. Would not recommend to anyone. If you’re looking for good ice cream on the canal go down the road to Pittsford dairy, much better ice cream and much better customer service.

As an avid fisherman for carp on the canal right outside this shop I understand the frustrations behind them being closed outside business hours, and I’ve seen tons of people try to open the door and it was locked. Anyways, my frail and tiny little girlfriend and I came here on a beautiful night and we got served right away, cheaper than most of the overpriced junk in the rest of Pittsford or other places I won’t name where we just came from (see other reviews) and the gelato was fire. The bowls and spoons were mad cute too. Great experience especially on a nice summer night. Might get hammered at lock 32 after this. They just gotta fix the hours/ door issue and they would have 5 stars. My girlfriend is so cute.
