Artelice Pâtisserie

This was my first time at Artelis Patisserie, and I came in without knowing what to order. I asked for recommendations, and the person at the counter was genuinely passionate and took the time to walk me through their pastries and macarons — which I really appreciated. I’m usually skeptical of French pastries in LA, but I trusted the recommendation and ordered Lé Peanut. It was beautifully executed and very well balanced — not overly sweet, with clearly defined layers. The tempered chocolate finish was done properly: glossy, crisp, and clean. I also tried the Napoleon, and it was excellent. The puff pastry was caramelized, crisp, and not soggy, with a rich vanilla flavor that felt intentional rather than sugary. Everything taste as good as it looks! My husband and I were eating next-door, it happened to pass by this place. We took a gamble after having a poor lunch, and we’re so happy about the turnaround in our culinary experience for the afternoon. I had the mango looking dessert and my husband had this other thing in the photos, I forgot what it’s called. Both were absolutely delicious. We also ordered cappuccinos and they were made very well. The service was excellent and very friendly and helpful. It feels like you’re eating with family. Restaurant was cute and well kept.

As someone who loves dessert hopping, this bakery really stood out! Every pastry and cake looked amazing, and the flavors were just as good. Even the packaging was beautifully done. I’d definitely visit again if I have the chance.

I regret that it’s taken me this long to write this review - but if you are looking for the iconic “crunchy fruit” pastries in LA then THIS IS THE SPOT- LOOK NO FURTHER. We came here late on a weekday and they thankfully still had some pastries left. The owner was working at 7:30 on a Wednesday - which is impressive in itself. We got an assortment of all the fruit pastries and some croissants. The Mango pastry is one of the best things I have ever tried - so much so after we tried it in the car we had to go back inside to tell them how amazing it was and get a few more things. They are top quality, croissants are outstanding, not enough great things to say about them. MUST TRY and 10000000x worth the price AND THEN SOME.

This place is an absolute gem! The pastries are beautifully crafted and taste even better than they look. Everything feels fresh, balanced, and made with real care. The staff is friendly and patient, always happy to explain the flavors. Whether you’re grabbing a quick treat or ordering for a special occasion, Artelice never disappoints. Highly recommend!
