As a native New Jerseyan, I can honestly say it’s hard to find truly great pizza out here, and Weirdo’s Pizza delivers every time. Knowing the owner is from my same part of Central New Jersey makes perfect sense once you taste it. The pizza is incredible, consistent, and clearly a labor of love. Papa Vin and his family all work there, and they are awesome. Great people, great energy, and one of the best pizza spots around. 🍕👏🔥
The plain cheese was great NY style slice. Tried the Animal Style and it’s tastes like in n out pizza. Must try for the experience. As an added bonus Jay Leno drove up for slice in his steam powered car.
I'd been hearing about Weirdough's ever since moving to L.A. & FINALLY decided to stop by yesterday evening to satisfy my pizza craving. The restaurant is cute n' quaint, warm & inviting...merging the traditional Italian pizzeria feel (e.g. gingham tablecloths, the signature brick wall, vintage photos, etc.) with quirky accents, like Weirdough's eye-catching deck of curated question cards placed atop each table. It was fairly busy, with a group of patrons dining on the sidewalk & many customers ordering take-out inside. I was promptly greeted by a young lady at the register then made my way to the pizza display counter, where I stood for a while just in awe of all the unusual (dare I say, "weird"?) albeit delicious-sounding offerings of gourmet slices. Stuffed Philly cheesesteak pizza, a
Weirdough's Pizza is a quirky neighborhood pizza joint near Warner Brothers Studios. We ordered slices of B-B-Que, Red Light Pepperoni, plain, and la Bianca. All of them were excellent. The BBQ was exceptional. The Pepperoni had great flavor but the grease made it a little soggy towards the center. Still great though. The staff were very friendly and the food was fast. Would definitely reccomend this and look forward to trying new flavors in the future.
I've been wanting to try Weirdough's for a while now, and it did not disappoint! Honestly, the best pizza crust I've ever had - tried a slice of pepperoni and a Brooklyn square. Next time, I'll definitely get the garlic knots. Highly recommended!
