Ariana Afghan Kebab

Wonderful experience here. The Afghan food and hospitality we experienced was not like other places in Manhattan. The gentleman who served was patient and polite and answered all our questions regarding the menu options. The beef kabob was marinated to perfection. We even got the mantu beef dumplings that was 10/10 but forgot to take a picture. Everything was hot fresh and delicious!!!! This place has beautiful Afghan artifacts too, tells history and very cozy eatery. We will be coming back :)

My brother and I stopped by here for a quick dinner on our way out of town and were treated to a great meal with fantastic service. The lamb was so tender and the pumpkin curry was a must-order. I probably could’ve drank the chicken broth as a beverage. Not pictured, but you should order the custard for dessert as well, it was amazing. Service was really fast, which was great since we were in a rush, but the atmosphere was really nice and we would have loved to take more time here. We have already bookmarked the spot for next time we’re in town.

I used to dine in for many years when I lived in the neighborhood. Always the best service, and food is still so delicious so many years later even when ordering delivery. They always make you feel at home when dining in. So important to support wonderful small businesses like this serving halal options! One of my faves!

OMG! A friend familiar with the area took us to dinner. Atmosphere was amazing, food was even better. Wife had the lamb, I had the tandoori chicken.

Came here for Afghan food and had such a great time!! The (gorgeous) owner was incredibly welcoming he truly went above and beyond to make us feel special. He was friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations without ever being over the top. We ordered the kofta kabob and a lot of mantu — and I mean A LOT!! The kofta was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right, but the mantu completely stole the show. Soft dumplings packed with flavor, topped with yogurt and sauce… they were so good we literally ordered more and even took a to-go order home!! It was also my friend’s birthday, and they surprised us with a complimentary dessert, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch. It really made the night feel extra special. So much good food, amazing hospitality, and such a fun atmosph
