Arepas La Negra To Go

Located inside upscale international cafe. We got the mixta arepas which were filled with beef, shrimp, chicken, fried pork belly and cheese (Carne, Pollo, Chicharrón y Camarón Adicional de Aguacate o Queso). It tasted so good until we got to the part with belly party which tasted very bad. Service was extremely nice .

Thanks for the amazing arepas and empanadas… we had a show at the Queens theater and they delivered in no time. You saved our night

arepas and all other plates amazing. Filling and very big portions combined with great taste make this spot a hit. I had the maduro with everything and could not finish.

They were good but I think they are over priced.....but overall good experience

This is located and rebranded within the Astoria Gramercy Cafe. Very nice atmosphere and beautiful artwork inside and great service located on steinway. I came in for an arepa mixta and the price matched the quantity in food given, it was a lot. A good amount of shredded chicken, pork, bits of shrimp and too hard chicharron. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the arepa because it didn't have as much flavor as I'd like. I've had much better before. The pink and green sauce were okay. I'd come back to try the Cafe but not arepa.
