Arepa spot is a hidden gem. It’s family-run and authentically Venezuelan. I can also bring any friend here; the meat eaters love the juicy fillings, and my vegan friends have options here too. The atmosphere matches the food perfectly: good music playing, bright happy vibes, and the option to sit inside or outside under an umbrella. I always feel good after eating there and can really tell the care and thought behind every handmade arepa.

Monica served me with excellence beyond belief. Her food recommendations were lights out on target! It satisfied my hunger, my palate, and my creativity. Meals are priced where I would eat here every day if I were local(just flew in from Detroit). This Chef is amazing!

A gluten-free restaurant with fried cheese (tequeños) and a perfectly seasoned shredded beef empanada (carne mechada)... I can hardly wait to return! It was delicious.

Arepa Spot in Myrtle Beach offers a delightful and authentic taste of Venezuela, with their gluten-free arepas as the undeniable stars, boasting crispy exteriors and flavorful fillings. My wife and I particularly enjoyed the delicious steak and chicken bowls. While their gluten-free empanadas are generally recommended, the cheese empanada we ordered had an unusual odor and taste. Despite that minor blip, Arepa Spot delivers a genuine, homemade Venezuelan culinary experience in a cozy setting that's well worth a visit.
