Are You My Human? Rescue Dog Lounge

Over the past couple years, we loved having Are You My Human? as a place we could see and cuddle the sweetest of dogs and puppies. This last Christmas we were finally ready to adopt and Are You My Human? helped us with ease, enthusiasm and great communication. We have a 8 year old dog who we adopted previously and the staff allowed us to have a meet and greet to make sure the two pups would get along. It’s been two months since we adopted Opie and things are going well. We are so grateful that there are organizations like RUMH in our area. We can’t imagine our life without our little guy ❤️

Haven’t been a few years since the last owner. Coming back this time I was super impressed with the small changes that made a huge difference. They are a great cause and partner w a rescue in Sedro. Super fun way to scratch the itch of wanting a dog, but not having the space to own a dog quite yet. Thanks for all u do!

The dogs here are well taken care of and loved. The Millie Foundation founders are so kind, and Because We Care rescue is constantly rescuing these dogs from euthanasia in other states. Such a great concept; socializing these dogs who need it, getting them adopted but also allowing the public to receive some unconditional puppy love for 50 mins.

We picked up Bear on Super Bowl Sunday! We considered making an appointment a couple times, but we never managed to remember. But they were very accommodating with us just walking in to the lounge. During our first visit, we met quite a few dogs, who each had their own personality and had their own story. They are all from the Because We Care non profit in Burlington. We had a dog in mind based on their instagram page and photos, but we fell in love with Bear. It is so nice to be able to meet many different dogs at once in a calm, friendly environment. Everyone was super nice, super helpful and very patient with our many questions as we would e first time dog owners. We love Are You My Human!! ❤️ We adopted our dog Greta from them in 2022, and we fostered through them in the same year for a different dog. Both times we had excellent experiences. The staff was kind and professional, and the facility was clean. We could tell the dogs were well taken care of, and that the staff really cared about finding good homes for them.
