I have several observations about this place and, being my first visit, it was honestly disappointing. Upon entering, there was an unpleasant smell that didn’t create a good first impression. When ordering, we asked for tacos, wings, a burger, and various sauces. The first thing to arrive were the nachos with cheese and onion sauce, which were actually very good. However, the experience went downhill from there. The burger lacked flavor, especially the meat, so I requested ranch dressing to improve it, but the server forgot to bring it, and I ended up eating it as it was. The chicken wings were overcooked and drenched in an excessive amount of sauce, which made it seem like they were trying to cover up the overcooking. Best restaurant in Cameron Park. Best Applebee's ever! Awesome atmosphere. Super friendly staff. A great stop to rest going or coming.from Tahoe. Unbeatable prices. There are no better boneless wings anywhere! Best double, daily (very few places offer this) happy hour. Great prices. Great portions. Great taste. Great decor & ambiance. 5 stars all around. You could eat here everyday. Why go anywhere else? I remember 45 years ago when our San Jose Dennys turned into an Applebee's.

Walked in for dinner and it was incredibly cold inside on a winter day. Sat down and decided it was to much to handle and left for a place much more inviting. However the staff was friendly and understanding

Is the second time I’ve had their burger me and the kids all had one. It is the best burger and fries with a for the price of $9.99. That stupid cars, Junior and McDonald’s! And the patties are thick and they’re not factory made these are handmade. They taste like homemade and I’m proud of you a customer of theirs! Definitely the best burger in town
