Big Dog and Tot Shop /Tasty Taco Box

Food is amazing! My favorites are the coconut shrimp tacos and the birria tacos!!! They are soooo delicious! I have been two times and I will definitely be going back!!!! Don't walk, run to this place for lunch you will not be disappointed.

Oh my goodness there are no words to describe how incredible the food is at the Tasty Taco Box. Each taco is brimming with the absolute perfect flavor combination. The birria tacos with the melted cheese are to die for. The chicken tacos are so fresh tasting. I will never get tacos from anybody else. Not to mention Tammy and her family/employees made me feel so welcome on my first visit. I can not wait to keep coming back again and again! Thank you!!

Everything we tried (4 different types of tacos and a boba tea drink) was delicious and customized to our requests. The barria tacos with an au jus-style dipping sauce are the house specialty, but if you like tropical flavors, the coconut shrimp taco with mango salsa is also a must! The owners run the shop themselves and were very welcoming. We had to wait about 20 minutes after we placed our order--as expected for freshly made food and drinks.

The tacos here were great! The owners are super friendly and let us sample some of the chicken in addition to the tritip tacos. Tri tip tacos were fantastic, they told us the marinated the beef for 48 hours and the chicken for 24... results: super flavorful, juicy, and tender meat. Everything was extremely fresh including the Chili Verde salsa made from scratch. Definitely going to be back, just wish I got some better shots of the food.

The concept is simple... just like a food truck, except in a fixed location and higher quality food. Everything is made from scratch. I highly recommend the shrimp tacos (on Fri and Sat). They offer The Struggle, which is a hybrid half quesadilla / half taco (upper left in my pic). The tri tip is the best I have tasted, very tender and great flavor. Burritos are the perfect size. Stop by for lunch. Just remember this is NOT fast food. Hand made to order, so it is slower than a chain taco place. But well worth the short wait.
