STOP! Read this review!!!! My wife and I stumbled into this place while celebrating our anniversary. We got to meet the owner who has true passion and attention to detail. He was there working hard just like the rest of his staff. There is no comparison in my mind of any where else in East Texas. What do I mean by this? The food is over the top quality, different, and apparently has many ingredients sourced from italy. The gelato is the best I have ever had which the owner learned how to make in Italy. And the atmosphere left an impression on me like no other establishment has. "Establishment" even sounds mediocre of a term - I think it's more fitting to use the business name, this place is a scene of "pleasant idleness" . Love this place!! Everything is so well done and high quality. The coffee is hands down the best in town! I love the affogato with hazelnut gelato. Perfect atmosphere for a coffee date or for hanging out on the patio. Feels like a slice of Italy in Nacogdoches!

Wow, I'll be coming here for my birthday! Due to the price, we'll most likely have to save this place for special occasions. However that is my only qualm, and barely one if that. I will tell you, it is so worth it for the taste. The customer service was very accommodating, we really appreciated the recommendations. Everyone we spoke with was very kind and efficient. The food was delectable, from the sandwich, to the Espresso shot with a hazelnut gelato scoop. everything that we ate had a distinct deliciousness that set it apart from the other dishes of the meal. Me and my partner shared one large "focaccia stack" for lunch, and it was just the right amount for us. Definitely recommend! A very nice addition to the downtown area, and I hope it sticks.

I am pretty sure I left a review earlier but I HAVE to leave another to rave about the meatballs! It's a new item on the new menu and I am pretty certain I have never enjoyed meatballs anywhere as much as these. They come in a deep bowl/dish with lots of sauce and a long piece of bread. The flavors and textures in the sauce were amazing and the meatballs tasted very fresh and were nice and tender. I'll be making a regular reappearance to enjoy these again. Sophie, my waitress, did a perfect job taking care of me. One thing I like about Aperitivo is the atmosphere. The staff look very professional, but just casual enough to be comfy, in their white shirts, jeans, and white shoes. The place always looks clean, and I love the big picture windows.
