Antietam's Jacob Rohrbach Inn

Staying at the Rohrbach Inn was a wonderful experience. Chris and Amy were very helpful to us in planning which restaurants to eat in and which places to visit. Their knowledge was invaluable. The daily breakfasts at the Inn were fabulous! It’s clear that the Vincents take great pride in their work and property. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

Absolutely perfect! Lovely house with attention to the tiniest detail. The hosts are wonderful - professional and so kind. Don't skip the breakfast. The asparagus fritatta is better than some I've had in Michelin star restaurants. Thanks for making our stay extraordinary!

Would not stay anywhere else. This Inn is in the heart of Sharpsburg, Maryland, about a mile from the Antietam National Battlefield. Exceptional hosts; very social and interesting to talk to, very knowledgeable regarding the Antietam Battle. The Inn is very clean and the beds unbelievably comfortable. We stayed 3 night in the “Generals Quarters” which is a cottage located right next to the Inn itself. Decorated to the 1860’s period but with modern amenities. The breakfasts were gourmet, home cooked sourced locally and from their gardens, and absolutely delicious. There is nothing nothing else to say about this place but exceptional.

We chose the Jacob Rohrbach Inn based on past reviews. We are happy to write that our experience aligned with other reviews - overall our stay was excellent. Our room was clean and sizable for two adults and the breakfasts were outstanding. Amy and Chris are wonderful hosts. We hope to come back soon.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting Washington County Maryland or Jefferson County, West Virginia. Located in the historic town of Sharpsburg, MD with easy access to the American Civil War battle sites at South Mountain, Harper's Ferry National Historic Park, Antietam National Battlefield, and historic sites in Hagerstown. Also a great base of operations for day trip bike riding on the beautiful scenic C&O Canal. Excellent B&B hosts in a historic building with beautifully appointed rooms. Easy access and parking with room to spread out for a couple days of touring. Incredible breakfast. We will be back!
