Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings

The wings looked great but tasted burnt. They did not have a flavourful char on them. No seasoning was detected - just burnt chicken and honey drizzle on my taste buds. The pizza was weirdly tepid. The name "Coal Fired" implies a hot, smokey meal, fresh out the oven. It was bizarre to me how my done to order pizza was not even hot; both the dough and the toppings! For a pizza AND wings lover, it was a truly underwhelming & disappointing dining experience for my first time here. There are better options out there.

We were here for dinner sitting at the bar and this was our view in front of us. A cup swarming with flies. Made us itchy and disgusted. I understand restaurants have bugs but do the customers need to stare at that while they eat? Completely grossed out.

Grabbed pizza here recently for the first time. Pizza was delicious and overall the place has a fun atmosphere. We were here on a Saturday night so it was quite busy and a bit noisy but will definitely go back if we are in the area!

Great Anthony’s salad, very affordable prices, good service, social distancing and famous chicken wings. For me personally it was a little bit burned. I can’t have little black coal pieces in my mouth. Sorry. But I know for sure some people love it. So, people it’s up to you.

Our waitress was so nice and attentive. I wish I remembered her name. She gave great suggestions on drinks and had the bartender make an amazing espresso martini. The food was fresh and delicious. The wings are amazing 🤩 Definitely recommend after a beach day.
