Annville Free Library

The Annville Free Library is a staple to the Annville community! The new addition to the building is wonderful and it’s exciting to see all of the new programs and activities they are adding! We appreciate their continued support of Santa’s arrival each December!

This is such an amazing library! There is a really great collection of children’s books. I’m currently a first grade teacher that is always on the look out for new books to introduce to my students.🥰

Yesterday, February 16, 2019, was the second time I have visited the Annville Free Library. I was surprised by the size of the building once I was inside. The exterior of the building looks small but inside there is plenty to explore inside. There is WIFI and computers available for use. Also, the library has comfortable chairs. Good DVD selection too. The library was quite when I was there until a group of loud mouth women showed up. They quickly left. Libraries are supposed to be quiet. The restrooms are located downstairs. There is a children’s area located in the basement with plenty of items for the young ones to explore. A very nice, small town public library. I was passing through Annville recently, on my way home from the Amish countryside (OK-Lancaster County!) and made a stop here. The staff was very nice and I got to use an internet computer to check on a few things. This library looked clean, organized, and well managed. Keep up the excellent work.

Great small town library! If they don't have it, they will get it from another library. They also have ebooks to check out online from home. They have hotspots to loan to county residents for secure wifi on the road. Need I say more? Yes! The staff is always helpful & friendly. The expansive construction at the library is nearly complete. The new Young Adult section is beautiful. A separate space where youth can gather for group activities, including board games provided by the library, is a great addition. The new community room is finished & available. The new downstairs space wasn't available when I visited. Stay tuned. Great things are happening at the Annville Free Library.
