Angelo's Roast Beef and Pizza Saugus

I went here on my way home from work the other night and they made me the tastiest meatball sub I’ve ever eaten. I couldn’t believe how good it was. I also ordered the mozzarella sticks and those were delicious too. This was my first time there and I will definitely be going back. The employees there were really nice too.

I order the Super Beef on an onion roll. It has enough beef that I can remove half and feed my 3 dogs. The remaining sandwich is still huge. The fries are awesome! They make a roast beef that will rival any standard Massachusetts roast beef out there. As good as all of the big names.

Another gem in Saugus when you compare takeout places. Homemade Greek style pizza from scratch is certainly the best thing on the menu. Everything is cheap and freshly made. Most of the menu are things made from scratch. They even have their own recipes from their chicken and steak marinade to their own red sauce they put on their pizzas and all their parmesan dishes. The owner is an outstanding gentleman that cares more about the customers than anything else. The place is very clean and the cooks in the back are very talented. If there ever is a problem with the order, the staff, including the owner will usually go out of their way to fix it for you. I encourage you to give them a try.

On Monday's most pizza places are closed. We chose to venture over to Saugus. WOW, sooo happy we did. Angelo's was a wonderful surprise. I got their Margarita Pizza and my boyfriend had their Hawaiian w/ham. Both did not disappoint. From their fantastic sauce to incredible crust, and not shy on toppings, we both had to find discipline not to eat our whole pizza. We can't wait to return to try more of their varieties.

Delicious roast beef sandwich on brioche bun! Just what a hungry traveler was craving. They also have gluten free options. Thanks for the yummy food :)
