Been meaning to stop by this place for awhile now and it did not disappoint! Got the “Blazing Saddle” and it was delicious! Chipotle mayo sauce was flavorful (this sauce is often a hit or miss) and the grinder bread was phenomenal. Seriously, I can’t get over how good the bread was. Definitely will be back. There is also seating inside for you to enjoy your sandwich there and stretch your legs if you’re coming from 95.

No more Scoop Shop. No more Old Lyme Ice Cream Shop. 😪 Imagine my surprise when I stopped in for my morning coffee and discovered the best ice cream in Old Lyme is now at Andy’s Deli! I especially enjoy the Sea Salt Caramel Truffle. So, head over to see Andy, Neyha, and the crew and experience a great selection of delicious Gifford’s ice cream. Oh and very reasonably priced, too. Thank you for bringing ice cream back to Old Lyme!

We love Andy and his family who run the deli and market.....and now ice cream shop! They care about their community and it shows in the Precision he took deciding to bring Gifford's ice cream into the shop Having not had Gifford's ice cream since the last time I was in Maine, I so looked forward to trying this creamy yummy ice cream again. We had the Toasted Coconut ice cream shake. The two young ladies who were behind the ice cream counter made an expertly thick shake. From the first sip, the shake's subtly sweet and authentic coconut flavor shines through. What truly elevates this ice cream, and subsequently the shake, are the chocolate-dusted coconut shreds generously folded in. Love Andy’s! Since moving to Old Lyme a year and a half ago, it has been my go-to place for a fast, delicious lunch. My new reason to go is their ice cream! It’s new to the store and delicious! Just in time for summer.

Stopped by Andy’s, and the ice cream was fantastic! So many great flavors to choose from, all super creamy and flavorful. The staff was really sweet as well. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving something sweet!
