Had an incredible dinner at Anatolian Bistro and everything was outstanding! The whole grilled branzino was fresh, flaky, and perfectly charred, served with a vibrant shepherd salad and grilled veggies. Loved the spicy chicken ,crispy, tangy, and nicely hot, balanced perfectly with the yogurt dip. The lamb liver kebab was tender, juicy, and packed with smoky flavor alongside grilled potatoes and veggies. Authentic Turkish cuisine at its best, warm hospitality, and cozy vibe. One of the top spots in Virginia—highly recommend!
Came here on a Tuesday for lunch. Besides one table of gentlemen and the server, the place was empty. I didn't catch our server's name, but I assume it was Ece since that's what was printed on the receipt. To start, we received complimentary bread and butter, and ordered Turkish tea ($2), and ayran ($4.95). My friend insisted I try kebab for the first time, so I ordered the Adana Kebab ($14.95) while she chose the Begendili Spicy Chicken ($16.95). I was pleasantly surprised by my dish; the ground meat was tasty and tender, which made it easier to eat. My friend, on the other hand, felt the sauce tasted like unoriginal spicy buffalo sauce and thought the Turkish tea was similar to Lipton. However, we both thoroughly enjoyed the eggplant puree and baked pumpkin dessert ($9.95). This was on
A few days ago, we went to Anatolian Bistro to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and everything was wonderful. The food and the table reserved for us were amazing. The mezes were by far the best I’ve had in this area — truly outstanding. We’re already planning to come back one day with friends just to order a table full of mezes and enjoy a long, relaxed meal. My favorite main dish was the Begendili Lamb (Tandır Kebab was also mind-blowing) — it was light, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. On a previous visit, I tried the pumpkin dessert, and it is a MUST-TRY! Highly recommended.
I love mediterranean food. This was a little different than what I usually order. This time I got the sampler (kinda) plate with lamb. It was actually very good and spicy. The place was small but quaint. Very quiet. Service was good and so was the food. I'll return and recommend this place.
Delicious! Very close to Dulles airport, if you’re looking for a nice place to eat before or after a flight. Liked the hummus, a cucumber and carrot salad, and the chicken kebab. Red lentil soup was good as well. Good vegetarian options.
