Amimoto Japanese Restaurant

Fantastic! The yellowtail sushi was very good! My wife really liked her Pad Thai. The prices were fair for a finer dining experience. The waiter was nice and very attentive.

What a gem to find in an unlikely little strip mall. The food tastes fresh, it's tasty, the staff are super friendly, and the space itself is nice and relaxing. I wish I lived closer, but I'll be back regardless. This restaurant is top tier. Take a look at the photo of the spring rolls I'm posting. You see those? You can easily tell that they actually made those spring rolls in-house. Oh, and the Thai tea was a real treat, too.

A Must-Try in Punta Gorda! My wife and I stopped in for lunch and had an outstanding experience. We ordered the Okinawa Roll and the Duo Roll lunch special — both were incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. The flavors were delicious, and everything was beautifully presented. Our server was excellent — extremely friendly and very attentive throughout the meal. I've been here several times before, but this was my wife's first visit. I wanted to share the experience with her, and she absolutely loved it! We've officially added this to our list of favorite go-to restaurants in Punta Gorda. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good about this place! We brought friends from out of town for dinner who are sushi snobs. They loved it as much as we did.

Start with the Garlic Edamame. Delicious! And I’m not even a huge fan of Japanese food! But their Edamame is great. And Orange Chicken I could eat over and over! It’s a small restaurant (next to Sherwin Williams Paint) tucked away in a small plaza (Towles Plaza) on rt41 in Punta Gorda, FL. If you like Japanese food… try this restaurant and you’ll be happy you did!!
