Got a too good too go bag from here, two of them- they were both great! Vegetarian friendly. Wish they gave bigger portions of veggies rather than so much rice- but it was still decent.

Yummy Indian food for great prices! Good flavour. So many options to choose from. Will definitely be coming back. Must try: Chicken Tikka, Cucumber Raita, Pickled Onions, Biryani Sauce, Chai

i’m soooo glad to have stumbled upon ambo! you really can’t go wrong since you’re making your own bowl, and i really enjoyed mine! the chicken was so nicely flavored and soft, all the toppings were fresh and tasty. i wish i were an nyu student now wow

I had an amazing experience at Ambo NYC! I tried the Chicken Tikka Bowl along with 2 naans, crispy samosas, their signature mango lassi, and hot chai — every single item was packed with flavor and tasted so fresh. The spices were perfectly balanced, the portion size was generous, and the vibe of the place was super welcoming. The mango lassi was rich and refreshing, and the chai felt like a warm hug at the end. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for authentic, delicious Desi Indian flavors. Can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu!
