Ambasador Restaurant

Highly recommend this restaurant! Fidel, the owner, and his family run this business and take care of their customers like family as well. Double pork chop in the balsamic sauce was very tasty and the lasagna and the bread are homemade and absolutely delicious. it looks like they built a brand new additional space that will be cool and fun in warmer weather. Ordered the hot antipasto (1st pic) for an appetizer. Very unique dish that no other restaurant has on their menu. Excellent and highly recommend. For entrees, wife and I ordered veal ambassador (2nd pic) and veal saltimbocca (3rd pic). Both amazing and very flavorful. Our waitress, I think her name was Myla. (Sorry, if I butchered your name) was top notch and very attentive. The decor could have been a bit more lively and a touch brighter with the lighting. However, a very minor gripe. I was really there for the service and food.

This is my husband and I favorite spot in Utica. We absolutely adore the atmosphere and the service. The food is amazing every time! From the veal to the seafood, you can’t go wrong.

You would think that good Italian food would be easy for find around here, but this is not always the case! Ambassador, however, really hit the spot for us. We ended up here on accident, but were SO glad we did. The atmosphere is quite nice, relaxing and romantic. The wait staff are wonderful, (the young man who was taking his role of unofficial host was a sweetheart as well,) and it's just a pleasant dining experience all around. I had a glass of cabernet for $9. It was worth it- excellent wine, and plenty of it. No regrets there! For an appetizer, we got the Ambassador Greens. It's Utica. You have to try the greens and the riggies, right? Well, these were some of the best we've had. I love Utica greens, and my partner does not, but these? he had almost the entire plate by himself! New Year’s Eve here at ambassador absolutely amazing!!! Staff soooo wonderful!! Food sooo fantastic!!! Atmosphere sooo comfortable and inviting!! Cannot wait to come back again.
