Alpaca Chicken

Super good! The staff here is SO kind, so friendly. My main complaint is the portion size- especially for the chicken! The piece of chicken I got with my chicken plate (dark meat) was very very small, especially since about half of it was bone! The food itself was very good, the chicken came right off the bone, the green beans had a good sauce on top of them and the plantains were really good! I placed my order on the app and it was ready within 10 minutes. They have a good amount of seating inside, but I seemed most popular to order ahead and pick up or order to-go. I first really heard about this place through their sponsorship with UNC athletics, so wanted to give them a try, and I would definitely go back- just would see options for more chicken, etc!

Excellent food, great atmosphere, and good service. It was a little busy when we got here, but the line moved quickly. I got the lomo soltado and it was great. Portion size was slightly small, but enough for me to be full. Steak was tender, onions were tasty, and fries got the meat juice on them. A bit salty, but overall tasted phenomenal. Others got chicken and said it was incredibly juicy.

This location has become increasingly stingy when it comes to portion size. The flavors are still there but nowhere near worth it to pay nearly $20 for a few bite sized pieces of steak. If you have to eat here, get just the standard chicken breast and drums. Don’t waste your money on anything else

Food was good, plantains were fabulous!! As the norm, white chicken dries out easily, and this was cooked then grilled. But it was good with the yellow sauce!! The fries, tomatoes, peppers, and onions were excellent!! Definitely recommend, but get sauce!

Food is amazing, my favorite is lomo saltado. The service by everyone here is great and the manager Jose Garcia is very attentive and kind. Thank you
