Alessandro’s is a very good restaurant! Walked in and by the stroke of luck I was seated immediately. They give you seeded bread and a cup of very tasty, well seasoned and chunky tomato sauce to dunk the bread in and quite honestly, out of all the Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life, the bread and this tomato sauce was the best thing. Most restaurants give out butter or olive oil. Tomato sauce is a far less common thing . Here they give you tomato sauce and it’s just the greatest thing I’ve ever seen! I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if other restaurant owners start copying them. I got a chicken parm for dinner and my girlfriend got a salad. Both were excellent! OUTSTANDING! Every part of dinner was absolutely incredible. Starting with the service and ending with the quality of the food and ambiance. I spent the first part of my life working in restaurants so I know a good one when I experience one. This was top notch. New York quality and vibe right on the main line. I will be back, over and over again. Ps. Everything on the menu is top notch. Pics attached.

Our server was attentive. Seat spacing was appropriate. We changed our reservation from 3 to 4 and they required us to move the time and location, odd given the party of 3 would be sitting at a 4 top. The food came out timely. A guest has dietary restrictions, the waitress and chef made sure the food came out as requested. I would go back. I would like to try the pizza. Watching other orders come out, it looked very appealing.

I have enjoyed many good meals here, but last night I walked in and ordered a pizza for takeout. They said it would take 10 minutes as I waited. 5 minutes later I had a terribly soggy pizza. No way that came right out of the Pizza oven - tasted like they nuked it. Inexcusable.

The bread was quite tasty. Apps were okay - we enjoyed the arancini but $55 for slightly overcooked jumbo prawns that lacked seasoning? Very disappointing! For entrees we ordered the risotto and pappardelle bolognese. I sent back the risotto. Gross and watery. I ordered the lobster ravioli instead, which was delicious. The pappardelle was really good too. We took desserts home, which were really disappointing especially for the price. The brownies were dry, and they only gave us maybe a spoonful, not even a scope of chocolate ice cream. Since there was so little ice cream it completely melted by the time we were home.
