Albertanos Rapid 2

This was very tasty food. There was plenty to eat. Way more food than I figured for the price. The crunchy tacos were full of meat. It was hot, and served on a glass plate instead of fast food style. We were both very impressed with flavors and quantity. Very few places have a larger menu than this. There is something for everyone, including toddlers. Glad I finally tried it. Paid about the same price as Taco John's or Taco Bell and got waaaaay more food with beans and rice. Now I want to try other dishes. We will definitely be back. 👍

Tried this place for the first time today. Probably won’t be coming back. My wife ordered the shredded beef chimichanga or should I say the vegetable chimichanga. We literally dissected it and had very hard time finding the shredded beef. We did find two very small pieces of beef but that was it. I ordered the Albertano’s burrito which was pretty much all potatoes. I did find a couple of small bits of chicken. Pretty disappointing really. If you like big portions with little taste you’ll like this place. Spend the extra 20% and go to Mi Cauli’s.

Its a cafeteria and the food is served that way. There is NO meat on platters it is nostly just grilled veggies not even cut uniformly. I hate to say ut, but Taco Bell is a better value.

The guacamole was a little bland for me, but the rest of the food was fantastic. The first thing I judge a Mexican restaurant on is their beans and rice. The beans and rice were on point. I loved it. Creamy rice was fluffy and flavorful. Really really nice. Had the chile rellenos with a cheese enchilada. Those green chilies are great & find out are Hatch chilies! That was one of the best chile rellenos I've had in a long while and I love the enchilada sauce. I would eat here again anytime.

i have never left a google review in my life but this place is genuinely the best restaurant in rapid city. they always have great food for great prices but recently i doordashed my order to my place, it was super late and took over an hour to find a driver, but when it finally came the food was hot, the drink was fresh with fresh ice, this place is always going the extra mile. hands down best restaurant in rapid city
