Alberata's soul food

I spent one hour enjoying this meal. I ate this one month ago but my mouth LITERALLY waters when I think about it. The spices were all up in my nose in a good way. I spent the first minute or two just smelling it before I dug in. I didn’t know food could be manipulated like this. There was a hefty portion of chicken too. I only had Popeyes red beans and rice and Mac and cheese before this, sadly. But I didn’t know! I’m so glad I tried this place because my world view expanded at that very moment. Thank you chef! I did not waste a single bite. :) I hope I did this meal justice by this review. It was really worth it. Much love.

Pure flavor. Had the Jerk chicken sandwich with fries and the flavor is Amazing the fries, hand cut seasoned so good didn't need ketchup.. highly recommend and the prices are just right a taste of Barbados .

Not even on the menu but she made it for me anyways. Pork flautas with beans and rice. It was wonderful. Thanks!

It’s really hard to find good vegan options in Delaware that satisfy. I’m really picky about where I eat. They did a good job in picking the right vegan brands to get the job done. The Breakfast really hit the spot. We ordered the vegetarian ( Meat and Eggs) breakfast. We ordered one with home fries and one with Grits. If you want grits they are made with regular butter. Chef Andre had no problem making a fresh batch vegan though. The home fries were perfectly sliced and made with real potatoes and not frozen ones and had real peppers and onions. Not everyone can work with the vegan egg products out there, but they were spot on. They were some of the best vegan eggs I have ever had. I do have to mention that the meal was a bit oily but that can be fixed and will not stop me from coming

Real soul food is made with fresh ingredients not can glory mixed greens the chicken wings was batter in cornmeal and I guess flour and the potato salad& that cornbread let's just say this is the worst soul food ever and my other half said he would give them a 4 on the seafood combo platter I got 6wings I try one and throw the rest away very pissed off I do believe those wings was Recycle wings cause it was nothing fresh about any of this food.my first and last time!!!! I truly wish I could get my money back like 37.00 want to the trash
