If you’re craving authentic Middle Eastern flavors in New York, this spot is an absolute must-try. The food is excellent: fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. The standout for me? The pistachio and cheese pie. It was rich, perfectly balanced, and one of the best I’ve ever had. The service is impressively fast, and the kitchen clearly knows what they’re doing. One of my favorite parts: they bake their bread in-house, and the warm pita keeps coming to your table throughout the meal. Soft, fresh, and straight from the oven! Honestly, it could be a meal on its own. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Al Badalwi was the most heartfelt dining experience I had during my short trip to New York. The atmosphere blends the comfort of home with the beauty of an artistic New York restaurant with the incorporation of murals and greenery. The service team works together to create a memorable experience for guests which is compounded by the quality of the food. I could tell the restaurant took pride in its services as it rightfully should. Despite how busy the restaurant became around 7:30PM, the food came quickly. The Baba Ghanoush and Salata bi Tahina ($13) were a great way to start the meal to warm up the palate and excite my taste buds for the main course. This place is delicious! I’ve never had Palestinian food, so my boyfriend and I decided to try it. We got the dip platter and then split the mixed grilled platter (lamb, beef, chicken) with rice and salad. The dips were all to die for and the meats were so juicy. I have to admit, we loved it so much we came back a few days later. The best perk is that they have free BYOB so we brought a nice bottle of wine. Highly recommend!

BYOB, fantastic staff and food, fun/busy environment, amazing value. Make reservations for dinner because it was POPPIN on a Friday night. I will definitely be back for more of their “pizza” / flatbreads! It is soo so good. The lamb kabob plate was giant and could be shared for two people.

Al Badawi truly represents the cuisine and more importantly the hospitality of Middle East!!! Loved it 110%. As soon as you come in, you will feel at home. Will definitely come back. Especially with BYOB, what else can you ask for. You can’t go wrong with the Muhmara, the mixed grill platter and the kanefa. Amazing job guys!! Thank you for making my birthday so special. Love you !!
