Ako Chicken (Food Truck)

really enjoyed this combination of flavors 😋 Recommend making it a combo to get the fries! Especially if you’re a fan of McDonalds fries… these are better ! Also loved the crunchy pickles since most fast food places have those soggy ones. We got the Slider Combo in Mild (wasn’t spicy so recommend trying the Hot to get that whole experience! ) You could really tell this wasn’t fast food! Although they were fast at preparing our order. 😉 Overall, we enjoyed it 😊

Best Chicken Sandwich I've ever had. This is fresh, crisp, spicy, crunchy, tangy, and savory. You need to try this, there's a heat for everybody! Popeye's and Chikfila are no competition! Owner is very nice and he said sides will be coming!

Omg omg omg. I don't even know where to start . Most definitely the BEST chicken sandwich in H-town. It is a fusion of flavor, very unique combination of chicken, home made coleslaw .....the sauce was amazing. The robust and creative flavours are something u cant find anywhere. Nothing should taste this good!!!!!!Will.most definitely be back

Ako Chicken has a very good chicken sandwich. In my opinion it’s up there with Popeye’s chicken sandwich. Ako chicken sandwich is huge. If you get fries ask for the sauce to deep them in. The sauce is good. I would recommend trying Ako chicken.

The service was wonderful and reviews were great so I was looking forward to the sandwich. But I was heavily disappointed. I got severe food poisoning from the food that i’m still recovering from, which I was shocked because that never happens to me. The food was also very bland even though I requested the 2nd highest spice level. I was excited to have found a new halal spot, but sadly won’t be coming here again.
