Ajwa BBQ and Restaurant

We had an absolutely fantastic dinner at Ajwa BBQ and Restaurant in Hummelstown. Everything we ordered was bursting with authentic Pakistani flavors and perfectly cooked. The fish fry was crispy on the outside and flaky inside…..lightly spiced and delicious. The goat chops were tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection with just the right amount of smokiness and seasoning. Chicken Karahi was rich, aromatic, and full of bold spices. We paired it all with fresh, warm naan and kulcha that were soft and buttery. The chicken cheese kebab was a highlight…..creamy cheese melted into the flavorful chicken, making every bite irresistible. The portions were generous, and the quality was top-notch. One word: BIRYANI! the best in the area ! The tikka masala was so good as well. We loved it so much we ordered out the next day for more. It’s THAT good ! I was sad to see Bollywood close but this place is so authentic and the flavors are amazing. Prices are fair and food is delicious. Highly recommend!

I didn't even know this place existed, but it will definitely be one of my new go-to's! The service was amazing and food was delicious. I had never tried Pakistani desserts and had no clue what to pick after my meal. The hostess was very helpful and described each one before we picked out some. The portions were HUGE and I ended up with leftovers for 2 days!

Stopped as we passed thru town. Located in a strip mall, the sign beckoned as we were heading to the local diner. Very glad we changed our minds!! Service was spot on, food delivered quickly. Our host even entertained our questions about the cuisine. While 45 minutes away, well make the drive as it was delicious and authentic.

Completely empty when I came in, which is surprising to me, considering how much I enjoyed the food! Not sure if it's ever busier, seeing as no one came in the whole time. I highly recommend the goat cheese and green chilies naan to fellow spice lovers. The creamy goat cheese balances out the hot chilies nicely. The Bollywood biryani looked beautiful and definitely delivered on flavor. It was not spicy. Everything came out very quickly and I was served by the manager Dinesh, who was very attentive. Definitely coming back, especially if I'll continue to have the place to myself 😆
