Senor El Sol Mexican Grill

Have grown up eating my Mexican parents cooking and everything I had here was fantastic! The red sauce on the flautas tasted exactly like my mom’s. Huge bonus points for actually having pineapple pieces in my Al pastor tacos. Super flavorful. They made sure our Churros were made fresh as soon as we were done with our entrees. Homemade horchata to top it off was so so good. We will absolutely be back! Also the young gentleman working the front was so pleasant and helpful, made our experience here so much better!

This place was great. Got the taco platter with three choices and all were great. The fiesta chicken was especially good! Also, the young man working the front was very friendly and super nice. Wonderful little place.

My wife got the taco sampler. The carne asada taco was 2/3 the size of each of the other 2 tacos. She enjoyed the shrimp and also the fiesta chicken. The Spanish rice tasted like a box mix - it wasn’t bad, just did not taste fresh. I got the 3 enchiladas Mexicanos. I thought the size of each enchilada would have been made with a large shell. What I got just said 3 corn tortillas. Each was smaller than each of my wife’s tacos so it was definitely a disappointment. The beans were good and I enjoyed the chicken enchiladas - the flavors were amazing. I’ve added pics below to show our food.

Having been born and raised in Arizona, I can honestly tell you that if you want real Mexican food. Real. Go here. The horchata was actually made from scratch. The carne asada, and pollo asado, incredible. Sopes were perfect. I'm going to have a hard time going anywhere else for Mexican from this point forward.

The fajita quasadilla and guacamole was phenomenal. Sat inside and enjoyed every bite. It's a quaint little restaurant with great food and a convenient location. The staff were super friendly. Will definitely be coming back often!
