While traveling in New York, I suddenly craved Japanese food and ended up at this restaurant. I noticed they had pork buns, and they were indeed quite delicious. My favorite here is the whiskey sour—I feel it’s the most authentic one I’ve had in the past few days. The atmosphere is also great, and the staff are very meticulous about cleanliness, making the cocktail preparation process particularly reassuring. I especially enjoy the salmon sashimi—the minced meat paired with the restaurant’s unique sauce makes it truly special. The tender meat in the egg udon is just right, and when combined with vegetables and broth, it feels especially comforting in winter.
The food is very good. I love it because of how fresh and healthy the food looks when it is served. The truth is that it is a good option to eat there. I went in for sushi and ate a hot plate of chicken teriyaki and it was truly an excellent option on a rainy day, accompanied by a very hot and delicious Miso soup.
I don't really understand how people can give this place below a 5 star. Food is expensive in NYC, to find a place that isn't extremely expensive, but not dirt cheap, and still taste good with fast service, on top of all that, it's sushi, is impressive and satisfying to me. There are A LOT of sushi options, from your typical ordinary roll to creative chef specials that I'd recommend you try. They let their chef experiment, and their customers to experience the experimentation. Would come again, but wouldn't go out of my way entirely because NYC has so many places to try.
Sushi here is delicious and nicely priced for the portion sizes. The pancake with the curry sauce was delicious. Paired it with a soju. Waitress was sweet and attentive. They also have lunch specials! If you are a sushi lover, I would visit. Going to come again!
