Aikens Lodge

⚠️ Warning We checked into Aikens Lodge on 25/09/2025 and were greeted not by staff but by a notice on the door stating the reception was shut due to staffing shortages. Guests were told to go to the Best Western Red Hills a short walk away. Because of this, the pool was inaccessible, and breakfast for both properties was crammed into a single undersized dining area. None of these major changes were communicated to us beforehand, even though our booking included these facilities at Alkene Lodge. The room we were given was in very poor condition: thick dust, a shower covered in limescale, and a filthy, extremely noisy air-conditioning unit. On the following day, we requested either to be moved to Best Western or to receive a refund. Only after pressing firmly did we manage to secure a ref

Aiken's Lodge has been remodeled recently. It is clean and quiet, with a big parking lot for trailers in the back. It's close to the main street restaurants and shops all within walking distance. The price is good. There are a few things that I did not like. The lighting in the room is minimal. I could not see into the clothes/luggage area at all so I had to keep my suitcase on the other queen bed. The bathroom is small, but the worst thing for me is that the toilet is very short. I had recent knee surgery and it was very difficult getting down and back up on this short potty. Otherwise it's a good place to stopover for 1 night, but I (pesonally) would't want to stay longer.

Basic accommodations, clean and comfortable beds, easy to find. Good breakfast at sister property nearby. Pretty quiet (we were in 3 bedroom unit away from the street and upstairs). Used hot tub, pool closed October 1st.

Absolute gem of a hotel! I travel a lot to Kanab for work and this immediately made it to the top of my list for stays. Don't expect anything super fancy, but the retro aspects and SUPER CLEAN rooms are so perfect, quiet, comfy, cozy. Plenty of amenities and VERY friendly and helpful staff, rooms are very cozy and it's in the perfect location to walk to anywhere you want to go down main street. Also DOG FRIENDLY I will absolutely stay here again, I cannot recommend this cozy place enough!

I stayed here for one night and really liked it. The room was clean, with no unpleasant smells, and the bathroom was neat. I especially liked the little light by the bed. Overall, everything was good, especially for the price, I paid around $70, and that’s a very nice deal.
