My husband and I had a wonderful late Valentine’s Day dinner and we couldn’t have been happier with the food and the service that we received. Everything was wonderful. We were seated at the basement of the restaurant, which was simply stunning. We really enjoyed our mocktails and were happy to find them since neither of us drink alcohol. We ended up ordering a lot of food and everything was wonderful, delicious really well presented, and the portion sizing was great. I was really pleased with the salmon and risotto main entrée and we got a side of mushroom mushrooms, and I can’t stop thinking about them. They were really good! I would definitely recommend and I can’t wait to go back. I would suggest getting a reservation as it gets really busy.
I'm always supporting the farm fresh culture, since food quality can always be tasted just from the naturalness of the ingredients. Easy to make reservation, and was seated 15min early at an outdoor table. Unfortunately not shaded but only because of the direction of the sun... but it was a perfect day though so we didn't mind. Waiter Brandon was really good at checking in with us frequently without ever being disturbing. Waters were always filled. Food status was always known. Needs always met. Gave him a good tip =) We started with mimosas of course! Then got ourselves an ahi tuna appetizer (a bit on the spicy side but the noodles were fantastic with the sauce) & a cheeseboard (loved how the raisin mix and the legit honeycomb combines with the 3 rich cheeses). Our main courses arrive
Maynor was amazing and you could tell he truly knew what he was doing and genuinely cared about serving us well. The food was fresh and full of flavor, especially the truffle flatbread and the roasted potato ravioli, both simple and delicious in the best way. The apple cider donut with homemade ice cream was super good and felt like the perfect comforting ending. The drinks were great too, especially the spiced pear gin with a really nice balance of ginger and botanicals. Overall it just felt like a warm, welcoming place in Princeton where everything comes together naturally.
I have been to most of the Harvest restaurants, however, this was the first experience I've had at one that hasn't been amazing. The service wasn't awesome. We were told Saturday afternoons were really busy so our server changed half way through, and we just felt kind of forgotten about. I ordered the burger which was subpar. It was missing the bacon, but we were charged for it. It had absolutely no flavor and there was nothing special about it. I would have been more pleased with a fast food burger, sadly. The truffle fries were great, though. The appetizer was the star of the show and the only thing we got that we really enjoyed. This experience just overall missed the mark for us and not what we have come to expect from this group of restaurants. Maybe it was just an off day?
I went here on a Sunday night thinking it would be less crowded but I was wrong! It was super packed but I see why this place was really nice and had a lot of great options! The drinks were really good and reasonably priced. We tried the tuna tartare which was incredible! For our entree we got a spaghetti squash with chicken meatballs. The dish was overall pretty tasty and filling despite the amount of food on the dish. I personally would have liked the chicken to be more seasoned but thankfully they have salt and pepper on the table to bring out some more flavor. I do feel that the hostess/servers were struggling a bit with the amount of people though. We did get the wrong menu (brunch instead of dinner) and then also had to wait like 15 minutes for a table even with the reservation. E
