Despite the numorous bad reviews, I had the pleasure of ordering a combination dish of Julio rice with oxtail and curry goat, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and served immediately. The staff explained exactly what I could order with my choice of meat, which made the process simple and welcoming. My food was prepared quickly and came out perfectly. The flavors were rich, authentic, and memorable. When I asked about their drink selection, they gave me a wonderful explanation of soursop—a drink I had seen a Jamaican coworker enjoy but had never tried myself. I ordered the Brown Stew Chicken with jollof rice and plantains. The chicken (thighs) were very tender, delicious, and flavourful. Here is my only criticism: The jollof rice may be seasoned with cardamon and hints of cinnamon. Because the brown stew chicken is so savory, it throws off the flavor a bit. Imagine someone sprinking cinnamon in your gravy.....that is what it tastes like. White rice would be more complimentary to this dish and the pallette. The plantains are very tasty, and they are cooked to perfection with a nice and subtle crisp on the edges; however, they do not pair well with this dish since the Brown Stew Chicken is already slightly sweet. Tasty Spinach Stew with goat meat and fufu. The stew just needed a little more palm oil. Otherwise, my dish was yummy.

First time purchasing food from here. I had the jerk chicken with jollof rice, plantains and mixed greens. Everything was really good. Staff was friendly. Will definitely eat here again.

I got a little bit of chicken for the price that I paid and they didn’t even have little containers to get sauce on the side. That’s the only reason why I wanted Jamaican food in the first place. I almost told her never mind. But she had already put the food in the container.
