OK. This was our first time visiting Adelphia. Service was great. Our server was fantastic. The food was really good. However, I'm a bit confused. We ordered The Homewrecker Hot Dog and didn't see any coleslaw? The hot dog was great but I was expecting big globs of cole slaw on top and it didn't look like it had any. It's on the menu, so where was it? Update: I'm changing my rating because of the panic PR post that Adelphia did on a review page on FB. They not only jumped on the mob that humiliated a young employee, they terminated her for no reason whatsoever. It was disgusting and not necessary. The reviewer was a jerk, but the real jerks were the management adding on to the humiliation. I've been there twice since this review, but they lost a potential regular customer today. Gross....
Wings, Big D burger, and Greek nachos were good. The atmosphere was your traditional sports bar, lots of TVs, a bar, some high tops, and regular height tables. Waitress was attentive, however not super friendly. The location is great! We stopped by the consignment shop across the street after. There’s a few other restaurants on the street, to include Mexican, pizza, and ice cream.
Just flew into town. Gave it a shot for lunch. Service was great. Very attentive. Ordered a cheeseburger, medium. Burger look great. When it came out it was just one of the driest, flavorless burgers I've had. Must have been lean ground beef. There wasn't a trip of fat coming off of it and the burger was cooked well done. They use spring mix instead of lettuce contributed to its dryness. On the other hand, the fries were good.
Descent Sports Bar. Lot of TVs which was good. Wings were good big and done right. Adelphia Hot Sauce wasn't to hot kind of Buffalo sauce with some sweetness. Tried several beers on tap and they weren't very good but had standard selections as well. Good atmosphere quite a few people in there. Servers were great. Elizabeth bartender very attentive and spot on.
The Walleye Fish sandwich and the sweet potato fries were very good. Great beer selections. Lots of TVs to watch the various games.
