Adam's Seafood and Steaks

DO NOT get anything to-go from here. We got a large seafood platter with two sides and hushpuppies and everything looked like it was fried at the same time and then piled on top of each other while it was extremely hot. The styrofoam container was melted through the bottom. All that hot fried food in one styrofoam container created so much condensation that all of our food was soaking wet. Who wants to eat soaking wet mushy fried shrimp? soggy fried oysters? Soggy scallops? The only thing edible was the deviled crab and the piece of flounder because they were on top of the pile. I was extremely disappointed because this was my birthday and I wanted to choose a local place to support. I ate the flounder and deviled crab and fed the rest of the soggy seafood to my dog. I read reviews and had to try it out. Did not disappoint. Megan was our server, she was phenomenal and very friendly. We were there for lunch around 1:30. Our only concern was that the food wasn't hot, it was warm. The fish and shrimp wasn't crunchy as I expected it to be. The fries lost their "snap" before they reached our table. Soon as we sat we were served complimentary hush puppies with honey butter. Very tasty. The salad bar had limited choices although fresh and satisfying. Will go back again and try another dish.

Adams seafood has some of the best and most friendly staff that I have ever seen. And even comparing to some high end restaurants, Adams is the best. The steaks are always spot on. Even the grilled pork chops are so tender. And my wife loves the flounder. Thanks for the experience.

Came here with my large family. All of our food tasted great, pretty much tasted homemade. They brought the best hushpuppies in the world, they were fresh, sweet, and yummy! Definitely not your ordinary hush puppies!

I don't know how this place has any good reviews. The food was absolutely horrible! The Philly cheese steak was... I dont even know. Maybe 1 steak-um on a big hot dog roll with lettuce and tomato. (Which is California style NOT Philly) The grilled chicken was disgusting. Couldn't even cut it with a knife and it was all stringy. The French dries were practically raw. The cheese fries (still raw French fries) had a handful of stressed cheese and an entire piece of barely cooked bacon... not even chopped up but literally 1 whole pice of bacon. That is liststed as an appetizer... so I guess even one takes a bite of bacon and passes it around. The ONLY thing that was good were the oysters.
