Acorn Public Library

Just moved and called ahead to inquire about the services provided. They were quick, informative, prompt and friendly. Checked out the adult, youth and young adult sections as well as the computer lab area. Everything was easy to use and instructions were easy to follow. I did have to ask where the specific areas downstairs were just because I had never been there before but either way I was assisted right away. Great convenient location and services! Very friendly!

We love the Acorn Library and all of the staff. The activities they put on every month for all ages are wonderful for the community. Plus, you can actually rent a Nintendo switch and games there! Saved me $400 and made my boys have the best week ever!

It is by far the worst library in the area. We still try to go to support our community but the children’s area is not only severely lacking, but there are several people in the department who clearly don’t enjoy being around children. We had a really terrible experience there recently and it shocked me how my daughter was talked to. If I feel like I’m bothering people at their job just by existing there, then there’s a problem.

Wonderful library. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Access to online library network where you can rent a book from any library in the system and they’ll deliver it free to your library. Your library card works at all swan library locations. They have cool things to rent besides books: fishing poles, cooler, Nintendo switch, Roku, and more. Small section where you can purchase books for cheap! Just a wonderful place. They even tell you how much money you saved each time you rent something! Great feature I’ve never had at another library.
