I typically do not write food reviews. But, WOW!!!!! A Filipino friend took me to Abstrakt. She suggested several of her favorites. I had… —Fried Fish Balls Appetizer. 8 to 10 pieces. I have a GLUTEN intolerance and did not have any of my typical post-gluten ingestion side effects. I have no idea what the batter on the fish balls is, but it was delicious and didn’t bother me. (NotADoctor!) I don’t eat gluten by choice not by allergy. Lennard Special-see photo! Favorite things-pickled jicama, cold veggie slaw, chicken tocino, and leftovers for 2 more meals! Everything I ordered was something I had never had before. All amazing! Thanks Lola! The fish balls were pretty filling, so I did not eat quite half of my dinner. I took about 1/2 cup of my friend’s food with my leftovers. Soooo

The server was just so good! Happy, energetic, lovely and made us feel welcomed as well. I’m glad he had a smile on his face. It goes a long way. The adobo dusted chicken was too dry. Prolly cooked for longer than required but the flavoring was good. Just the inside wasn’t juicy enough and apart from the sauce sprinkled outside, it’d be nice if there was sauce on the side as well The special sisig bowl although expensive and not in the menu, was definitely tasty! We enjoyed it very much! The flavors, the way the meats were cooked was top notch! Absolutely recommended.

Has a nice homey vibe. The food has really on point with authentic Filipino taste, wifey says the food tastes just like the Philippines. They have awesome decorations and their menu’s are on iPads you can look at every dish and item they offer. They have happy hours on Friday & Saturday 3-6 if I remember correctly. Pretty dope place would recommend to anyone.

Food is amazing and Matthew, our server, was an amazing host. I had the Lennard bowl. The chicken tocino with the Brussels sprouts was really good. Also try the Lumpia as a starter - think spring rolls but a little different.
