Abe Capanna's Neighborhood Pizzeria

Editing my post after trying again thanks to the owner! Fantastic crust, excellent bake, delicious toppings- perfect and thank you!! The staff were super nice and I had a great time. Mr. White pizza: garlic was not roasted it was raw. Crust was soggy not crisp. I’ve had their pizza at the food truck before and it was 5 stars, not sure what was happening today.

Just tried this for the first time. Used the coupon in the smart shopper. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this place! Pizza was delicious and the staff was great. We will definitely go back. The pizzas are a bit spendy, but the coupon made it worth it. It seems like they also have a good happy hour.

Premium price, sub-par food. We ordered the calamari and pizza “The Max”. First, the calamari came out with one large lump of calamari pieces that were slightly undercooked and doughy. This was comped, but why was this acceptable? Ugh.. “The Max”, was a disappointment as well. For the price, we shouldn’t get a pizza with sparse pieces of meat and served cold. This was the final nail. On the positive; the young lady working the register was professional, courteous but seemed fairly new. With the rising cost of eating out, we really need restaurants that can consistently execute. Unfortunately, they did not Hopefully, with more training and direct owner supervision, they can turn this new(er) location around.

I absolutely adore the pizza here! Every time I visit, I’m greeted with a clean and inviting atmosphere. The food is consistently delicious, and the service, while not always exceptional, is always attentive. My mom, who is usually skeptical about pizza, was completely won over after trying this one. It’s genuinely so good! I hope the quality remains consistent. However, I must say that the Kombucha is a bit pricey.

Love the pizza, but there is also pasta, appetizers and salads. We love it here! Such a great neighborhood spot and close to lots of medical. Oh and the quick daily special is great when short on time.
