Came here with some relative after the mall, place was packed so had to wait which was fine 20-25mins wait time. Tea was provided but refilled was not even though our pot was low. Service was eh I mean i understand it was packed but a check up would have been great of “ how was the food “ “ did everything came out okay” etc from the waiter, didn’t really see the waiter until towards the end providing the to go boxes and bags. When it came to the food it was decent 8.5/10 if you asked me the bibimbap had 0 flavor more veggies than anything, we received the rice before the other actual entree…. Which in my opinion was kind of suck cause the rice was starting to be abit cold. The soup was piping hot atleast but overall experience was decent.
A Ri Rang is a consistent, family-friendly location for legitimate delicious chigae / soon tofu soups. I specifically enjoyed the BBQ Galbi on the hot griddle, which featured 12 pieces for $36. Though it was a bit pricey, it was delicious and I enjoyed the caramelized onions underneath. My parents enjoyed their tofu mushroom soup ($17), which was well-prepared with vegetarian broth (per their needs). The dolsot bibimbap ($22) was also served piping hot, and they enjoyed it with beef and egg on the side (for me). Standout banchan includes the broccoli, the kimchi, and the namul, and were generously provided!
Comically high menu prices balanced out by refilling banchan sides. Food itself is passable at best, but not worth the price of entry in isolation. Expect to fill up on sides. Orders were held up and required reminding staff, who were gracious. Head elsewhere. Much better food establishments up and down Valley and Las Tunas.
First time in LA and we opted for this instead of all-you-can-eat kbbq. The food was delicious and the quality was great. The complimentary sides were plentiful. Everyone got what they wanted and was more than satisfied. Prices are reasonable for the serving sizes (a bang for our buck). Our waiter was attentive to our needs and offered suggestions to make our dining more enjoyable. We didn't make reservations but got seated almost immediately.
Large menu with very good and authentic Korean food. Food was very tasty and served hot and quickly. I was very impressed with everything and would not hesitate to return. Banchan dishes were also very good and the kimchi was excellent!
